I see a lot of coaches — and those in similar industries as well… Internet marketers. Speakers. Trainers. Copy writers. — spending a LOT of time on Facebook…They’re doing ALL THE THINGS.
Posting.
Sharing.
Quoting.
Commenting.
Asking “engaging” questions.
Using “message bots.”
Sponsoring posts.
Building out funnels.
Associating with those with “big lists” via online summits or interviews or whatever.
Using interesting / professional pictures.
And yet…
the answer to how they’re doing — in business — is dismal. Some, feeling “scared” in fact.
Frantic about money.
Taking on part time jobs, despite SOME even being Drs. Insecure about their plans.
Unable to say YES to coaching that THEY want because they have so FEW people saying YES to them.
DESPITE all the work they’re doing… DESPITE their effort, their tenacity and their consistency, Facebook is — plain and simple— JUST NOT paying off.

When you JUMP from one brand to another… and from one topic to another — EVEN ON “JUST” YOUR PERSONAL PAGE — you are losing POWER and PROFIT. Could this apply to you?
Look at your Facebook page, business and personal… and consider the following:
❓How many “FOUNDER of” or CEO of titles do you have in your bio summary? =) Does this point MORE to you being a “brand hopper” (I.e. Maybe THIS business will work!) or a true expert?
❓Looking at all you post and share, can a visitor tell — QUICKLY — what your expertise is in?
😬 YOU ARE A FOLLOWER.
That sounds harsh… and I apologize. But, stay with me. You WANT to be followed, but people follow leaders. So if you’re ALL about sharing OTHER PEOPLE’s QUOTES and other people’s articles and commenting on other people’s stuff… there’s nothing really to follow. You’re building someone else’s following, not your own.
IF you want Facebook to be a CONVEYOR BELT of pre-qualified, READY-to PAY clients your way, you’ve got to be worth following.
Not as a human.
As a human, we all have worth.
But as an expert,
as a thought leader,
as THE person who can FINALLY help them do X.
To be worth following, in THIS capacity, you’ve got to OWN the stage that Facebook has given you. You’ve got to take that stage, regularly… and SERVE out of your passion and expertise.
😬 YOU’RE BORING.
if all you give is a dry,
step by step,
nothing but the facts, ma’am
tutorials,
you’ll quickly become a commodity.
Inject your personality instead.
Tell YOUR stories.
Laugh at your own jokes.
Be inappropriate.
Be engaging.
In other words, SHOW what they get from YOU that they will NEVER get from any other coach.
😬 YOU ARE DESPERATE.
Seeing connections ONLY as cash.
