I’ve been called, “America’s favorite small business coach.” I love it… and I hate it. Because EVERYONE becomes a coach these days, right? You bump into at least ONE coach at every networking meeting.
Well, you’ll never find me at one of those meetings… and if you’re looking for an ordinary coach, you’ve come to the wrong place. In fact, “pure” coaches would criticize me for not being a true “coach” at all… more of a coach-sultant, I would say. In other words, I’m far more interested in your profit than your journey. If I know the answer, I’ll tell you… regardless of the satisfaction you may have found down the road discovering that particular business truth for yourself.
This is okay with my clients, because they come to me for one reason: to increase their income – dramatically, quickly, and consistently. My passion is helping my clients build a bridge between where they are now (swimming in potential, passion, and hope) to where they want to be (walking in profit that parallels their expertise). COPY + WORK
I take on very limited copy writing assignments today. This direct response writing is where I really cut my teeth in marketing, and I love doing it. I love the dance between the science, passion and art of a solid copy writing job. I do some writing for my private clients, but even that is limited. Frankly, writing copy takes a LONG time and my income now comes from other sources that allow me to leverage my time.
However, selling in print (writing copy) is INFINITELY important to your success. Do NOT skip over this fact… and do NOT get help on your copy from ANYONE who doesn’t at least MENTION that they have “direct response” experience. Anyone you hire for copywriting should also be able to quickly tell you who Dan Kennedy and and the late Gary Halbert are. If they look stumped, walk away.
