Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about. 
You know…. you’re doing the work. You’re making the “connections.” You’re staying optimistic, journaling affirmations even. You’re being coached, joining the right groups and attending the right events.
And everyone around you is succeeding,
at least that’s what it looks like from where you’re hustling.
SO
WHAT
GIVES???
Frankly, it’s possible you even know you’re smarter than “them.” More organized. More of a do-er. A harder worker. More technically savvy. Whatever.
And yet…
Look at them go,
While you …
Seem to take 5 steps forward,
Get stuck for a while …
And then STAY stuck for a bit longer…
Until you’re AGAIN
Staring at a stack of goals you feel powerless to achieve.
Again.
It took me way too long, but I did figure this out.
The good news is as follows:
❤️ Your ULTIMATE SUCCESS is within reach; and

TRUTH / SOLUTION / SECRET:
The EASE and FLOW you’re after
It is just one (BROKEN) commitment away.

Putting in your hustle,
Investing your sweat equity
And something is AMISS…
And you just can’t figure it out,
Chances are good that you have a COMPETING commitment that needs to be cleared.
Let me explain.
Maybe long ago you made a SOUL commitment not to stand out or be visible. You nearly forgot about this one, but somehow — today — you can NOT break into the realm of visibility you want. That former commitment, maybe made in middle school to survive mean girl scenarios is still around.
Maybe you made a semi-conscious commitment not to succeed TOO MUCH… you know, because it caused some resentment from a sibling or parent or partner… and today you keep feeling “on the verge,” almost there…
Perhaps you made a commitment to NEVER be “filthy rich like so and so” or to NEVER be superficial enough to care so much about how you look like HER… and so you never quite break through your own “normal.”
It’s possible you made a solid pact
With yourself
LONG AGO
That is anchored in…
To YOUR IDENTITY.
In this case, woman…
You can keep hustling all you want,
And you can even make all the money,
But it won’t last…
Because commitments anchored deep in our identity
Will ALWAYS be honored,
Until we deliberately, consciously BREAK them.
I have been a vow-breaking,
Commitment shattering fool this past year.
Unshackling myself from conversations,
Connections,
And commitments
That NO LONGER serve me.
So I’m curious…
