And here it is… 1 Foundation, 4 Steps, and 1 Habit.
I talk a lot about the messy madness of my business. The UNLEASH IT ALL and spin it into money thing. And I LOVE this part.
But there’s also some real
and really solid
METHOD
to what I’m doing here.
There’s also — of course —
a super practical,
HABITUAL
consistent AF
PRINCIPLED,
Profit-producing
METHOD
that ushers in WILD success
on my own terms.
So, here it is, in naked detail:
THE FOUNDATION OF ALL I DO is the inner game.
I can BE as consistent as I am, as AUTHENTIC as I am, as BOLD as I am ONLY because I do NOT burden my business with “self esteem” stuff.
All of that is settled.
My sense of self,
My confidence,
my refusal to be intimidated,
my POSITIONING with people and within the industry,
all of this is “inner game” stuff
and it matters.
I come to my business as a LEADER every morning, willing to SELL to increase my impact, and UNWILLING to burden my business with non-business goals like:
— affirmation
— acceptance,
— affection or friendship,
— applause.
I can TEACH you how to do this, quickly…
SHOW you your own inner warrior, so you NEVER forget her,
IMMERSE you in your own inherent value.
It’s both an INSTANT fix,
and also a LIFE LONG commitment.
And It’s not hard, but don’t skip it.
Your business will NEVER outperform YOUR vision of yourself. Ever.

STEP ONE: TARGET WELL
I don’t go to market willy nilly just hoping any woman or any woman business owner shows up to pay me money. I am a country girl who grew up knowing how to shoot a moving target.
Aim small, miss small is my motto.
MY method here with regards to targeting
(for Women Who WOW)
is to speak to the SOUL of the woman entrepreneur who KNOWS she is born for more, who is BORED and FRUSTRATED by the standard stepfordpreneur march,
who is determined to make MAXIMUM profit but also sees business as an EXTENSION of who she is,
and a way to make a TRUE impact on the world. She is all the way in, going big and backing herself. She’s smart, driven, accomplished and determined.
So, THAT is who I’m after. She can be a physician, attorney, coach, author, speaker, veterinarian, therapist, or music studio owner. She can be in real estate, spa services, financial planning, residential cleaning or physical products.
but if she’s DETERMINED to create wild financial success on her own terms (so that success doesn’t cost her the things she loves most!) she’s in the right place.
When you are THIS specific about who you are targeting, who you are speaking to, who your ads — if you’re using them — needs to attract, who your marketing needs to resonate with… everything becomes much easier.
When you SKIP this step, it becomes hard. It feels like throwing spaghetti at the wall… over and over and over again.
STEP TWO: CREATE (AT LEAST TWO) HELL YES OFFERS.
When you are speaking to your market, you need to have two offers:
— one (free) offer that invites them closer, whether that’s reading your free e-book, downloading your digital toolkit, access to a valuable tip sheet or something else that DRAWS THEM FURTHER into your business so they can get to know you — and it — better.
and
— a paid offer, where you walk them OUT of the spectator section and ONTO the actual field so you can really make a difference in their lives / businesses / marriage / finances, whatever.
These offers should be SO “hell yes”
It feels UNREASONABLE / WEIRD for anyone
(those you’ve targeted well anyway)
to say no to it.
What makes it a HELL YES?
It should give your target market something they WANT and are WILLING to pay for. It should be a perfect fit and speak to who / what / where they WANT TO BE, not necessarily whatever limitations / fears / circumstances they’re tolerating right now.
(By the way, read that last sentence again. It is critical whether you’re selling luxury handbags, American-made cars, healthcare, financial services, coaching or anything else.)
STEP THREE: Infuse all of your visible marketing with DIRECT RESPONSE PRINCIPLES.
Within the walls of WOW,
we understand BOTH:
that there are certain principles that govern our BEHAVIOR as humans and we work with those, so that our ACTIONS align with our goals…
but also,
that we must EQUALLY embrace — and deploy — the principles of PROVEN direct response marketing principles within our business.
To create WILD entrepreneurial success,
you must do both,
and with WOW,
you get a near constant IMMERSION into both.
In this way, the inner AND outer “game” becomes effortless, second nature…
which is a game changer.
People who attempt to do business without a DEEP understanding of DIRECT RESPONSE marketing are in for a roller coaster of futility and frustration, but when you deploy these principles in your marketing, success becomes dependable, predictable and — more importantly — replicable.
STEP FOUR: POUR FUEL ON ALL YOUR EFFORTS WITH CONTENT MARKETING.
Content marketing can BEST be thought of as an ongoing conversation with your market.
Conversations through which they can see you…
conversations through which they can see themselves and their potential,
conversations through which they can better understand their symptoms, their angst, their opportunities, and their behaviors in a new light.
When you show up DAILY for this conversation, you:
elevate your stage,
hone your message,
build trust within your market,
create share-able assets that your market can share with others,
build a library of work to further demonstrate your longevity and expertise,
stay top of mind,
and if you’re doing it right
i.e. using direct response marketing principles,
you also
sell daily.
Meaning, money comes in daily.
But none of this will give you what you want,
even if you follow it to a T…
if you do it intermittently.
If you do it for 2 weeks,
get frustrated
or busy
or overwhelmed
and then withdraw…
you’ll NEVER see the potential or profit you could see in this business of yours.
Which is why I follow all of this up with one habit:
RELENTLESSLY SHOW UP AND SHIFT FOR BETTER ALIGNMENT.
So, I am RELENTLESS,
not only about showing up and serving
Delivering value and staying visible and all of that…
but i am ALSO relentlessly making small shifts that keep me moving EVER CLOSER to the goals I have set.
Everyday, i not only SHOW UP,
But I also SHIFT.
Many times, these are imperceptible shifts,
but over time… these small little course corrections,
— ALL HINGING on seeing my END goal and re-aligning my actions to fit —
add up.
Big time.
So, that’s my method.
Do the inner work, so I’m a WARRIOR in every way.
Pick a great target.
Offer them something they want.
Use Direct Marketing principles.
Fuel it all with Content Marketing.
And then …
HABITUALLY and RELENTLESSLY show up and shift accordingly.
