2) Planning Your Funnels,
from start (Hey there!) to finish (Welcome & cha-ching!) . GUYS… I have BOUGHT all the fancy funnel trainings being marketed to you. I have them, and I have LITERALLY swiped a thing or TWO from each. Tops. Many give you templates to follow (fill-in the blanks!) which are EASY — yes — but lack HEART, intention, deliberation AND any hope of TRUE connection with your market. They show you TACTICS but don’t help you plan a journey for your people. They don’t HONOR you, your intention and your brand. They don’t honor your voice or your mission, NOR do they really take into account the nuances of your expertise or your market.
3) Creating Your Funnels.
Now, this is where I REALLY go against the grain…. this is where I really buck the systems, commit business “blasphemy,” so to speak.
The REASON I didn’t have funnels at play in my business for far too long is because I over-complicated them in my head. I put them off and procrastinated because i didn’t want to mess them up. I delayed… secretly wondering if my list was full of a bunch of non-buyers or if I had the traffic to even justify a funnel. Would it work?
I would START the funnels,
tweak them,
and then put them off.
I’d get to them later, I promised myself.
Woman, it IS to this day the regret I still hold about my business. (When I allow myself to entertain that sort of thing, lol…)
So, CREATING your funnels. Well, I create them backwards, LARGELY from content you’ve already unleashed. We plan with a specific journey and end in mind. AND THEN… we curate content you’ve already written or recorded to accomplish the DESIGNED PURPOSE of that particular funnel.
Because, choosing from your BEST content
your most LOVED content,
your most ENGAGING content…
makes sense, right?
Exactly.
Why NO ONE else is teaching this is beyond me. It not only makes funnel creation FUN and SIMPLE, I’ll show you how it is THE BEST POSSIBLE way to nurture someone through a meaningful (albeit automated) sequence.
4) Cashing In on your funnels is next.
Whether you use affiliates, content marketing, PR, book marketing or ANY other form of lead generation primarily… the next step is setting up your funnels for optimal cash creation. It is NOT as simple as creating it. “Build it and they will come” is a movie line and not a particularly true one.
You MUST activate your funnels. You MUST pour some fuel on them, show them some love, and PUT THEM TO WORK. This — again — is never taught and if it IS, the teaching is focused nearly entirely on paid ads.
