So, it turns out…
that the “secret” to wealth and power and success isn’t JUST envisioning it.
Manifesting,
it turns out,
requires a vision PLUS a commitment,
and a commitment ALWAYS
demands action.
In fact, you take action MORE consistently,
when you are firmly locked in on your vision.
Perhaps NO ONE demonstrates this principle more than King Solomon.
King Solomon is one of those historical figures that nearly ALL religions regard consistently. The Bible (and even the Quran) and historical references all conclude that Solomon was “fabulously wealthy.” In ALL historical reference, Solomon is portrayed as “great in wisdom, wealth and power beyond either of the previous kings of the country.”
Not bad, Solomon…
so, what was his SECRET?
The hustle.
About 4 months ago, I committed to reading through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. I read the Bible every day, but I’d never undertaken what is defined as a “canonical study,” from start to finish.
And I’m right in the middle of the most BORING of books. lol…. All names I can’t pronounce, cities that no longer exists, and measurements that mean nothing to me. lol…
But then… as I’m dutifully reading through, something jumps out at me. Nearly any person who’s read the Bible can remember the phrase, “Be strong and courageous.” It’s repeated I don’t know how many times in the Bible.
BUT TODAY,
when speaking to Solomon,
the richest and wisest and most successful man on record,
the scripture doesn’t stop there.
It goes on.
TWICE.
“Be strong and courageous and do the work.”
WOW.
and then again,
“Be strong and courageous and do the work.”
So… regardless of where you’ve come out on the faith stuff… are you DOING THE WORK?
Do you have a vision…
AND a commitment to doing the work?
Your Vision…
should propel you
to DO THE WORK.
You see,
King Solomon had a vision.
He could SEE what his work would become.
And he knew to be strong and courageous.
God bestowed upon him wisdom and knowledge… a wisdom that history shows us resulted in world-wide fame… back when we didn’t have the internet or news to tell us who’s who.
And still,
Solomon was reminded…
TWICE
to
HUSTLE.
To do the work.
Don’t overlook the practical hustle, Solomon.
Is anyone blown away by this like I am?
I LOVE how practical the Bible is.
And when it affirms the HUSTLE,
well, I’ve gotta give it a shout out.
