CLARITY brings the cash.
Not cutesy.
Not clever.
Not even creative.
If you are amazing at what you do,
AND YOU ARE
1) IN CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE
AND
2) INVITING THEM TO BUY FROM YOU,
but you are NOT bringing in the cash you want and deserve,
keep reading… because I guarantee you will find that a simple lack of CLARITY is costing you (way) too many sales.

NOTE #2: Posting about your stuff or hinting around about your stuff or asking people to give you “feedback” on your stuff.. does NOT count as “asking them to buy.”

Women entrepreneurs can make things harder than they need to be because we have a tendency to make things “cute.”
Quick example: We’ll name ourselves “The Sultan of Sexy & Sashaying Salaries” instead of simply saying that we’re a salary negotiation coach.
Or we’ll come up with a cool term, like “landing the locking lap” and FALL IN LOVE with it… use it EVERYWHERE (i.e. I help women land the locking lap!) expecting our clever alliteration or concept to draw people INTO conversations with us…
When in reality
ALL of this actually
repels business.
If you read NO further,
please know that a confused prospect
ALWAYS walks away.
PLUS, from a practical stand point,
NO ONE is searching for
— or asking their friends for referrals for —
“the sultan of sexy and sashay-ing salaries,”
But there are PLENTY of people looking for a salary negotiation coach.
Sometimes “boring” brings in the bucks. So, here are FIVE points of clarity that you MUST lock down, be able to talk about in terms that EVERYONE understands, and NOT muck up in some ridiculous attempt to seem smart or creative.
💰 YOU HAVE TO BE CLEAR ABOUT WHO YOU SERVE. I am very very clear, to the point of being willing to offend, about who I serve. I DO NOT serve the woman who is “Playing” in business. I don’t attract the husband-funded crowd, or the ones who judge entrepreneurs who actually — you know — sell stuff. So who do YOU serve?

But be CLEAR about it.
💰 YOU HAVE TO BE CLEAR ABOUT WHY THEY SHOULD WORK WITH YOU OVER ANY — AND EVERY — OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE TO THEM, INCLUDING THE OPTION OF DOING NOTHING.
I am NOT shy about saying that you do not get anywhere else what you get from Women Who WOW… and expounding upon WHY. The key to keep in mind is that we are NOT a world without options. You must be able to give a CLEAR answer to “Why should I work with / hire you?” even when — especially when — it isn’t asked of you directly.
Your prospects ARE wondering why they should buy from you… or why they should join your team, visit your office or choose you to be their real estate agent. Do you have an answer for them??
What are they unlikely to get any where else…
but through coming to you?
💰 YOU HAVE TO BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT THEY STAND TO LOSE BY NOT WORKING WITH YOU.

Again, don’t be clever or cute. Don’t call your work “unicorn unselfies” if you’re REALLY a photographer. Don’t say you “sell” world peace if you’re really selling life insurance. Don’t say you sell “confidence” if you really sell make-up. C’mon. This sounds corny ANYWAY. You’re better than that! 😊
💰 YOU HAVE TO BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT THEY SHOULD DO NEXT. I RARELY — if ever — leave my audience hanging about what to do next. If I want you to check out Women Who WOW membership, I’ll say:
“If this article resonates with you, but you are NOT YET member of Women Who WOW, let’s remedy that.. Message me to join at a friends and family rate that ALSO locks in 1:1 time with me!”
Very clear…. and very direct. Compare that with just this:
“If this article resonates with you, but you are NOT YET member of Women Who WOW, let’s remedy that!” It doesn’t give them any real direction on how they can connect with you for next steps.
It’s not that your people are dull or not very smart… it’s that they’re BUSY and they don’t want to — and shouldn’t have to– work HARD to figure out what you’re saying, what you’re selling or how they can pay you money.
