This is a “woo woo” concept, made very, VERY practical in this article.
I am approached by many people about how to get more clients. Most of the time, when I say something like, “What you focus on GROWS,” they GET IT. They nod in agreement.
But a funny thing happens when you’re in that space of “needing” clients. It’s as if money is oxygen and you’re running out. It can feel frantic, desperate, like a bonafide EMERGENCY….
“Just tell me what to DO,
what to SAY,
where to GO,
to get a client…
FAST!!”
Mortgage is due!
Health insurance is due!
NEED.
CLIENT.
NOW.
And in THIS space, it can be easy to lose sight of the principles that you KNOW to be true…. in the RUSH to get what you want to need.
BUT,
What you focus on, GROWS.
This is a UNIVERSAL concept.
It works in marriage
(focus on what you LIKE about that man!)
it works in sports
(focus on the HITS not the misses.)
It works in the garden,
And, of course…
it works in business.
So, do you want more clients?
GREAT. Focus on the ones you have.
Do you want more MEMBERS?
Awesome. Love on the ones you have.
This means:
PAY attention to the clients, customers or members you have.
Focus on them.
Engage with them.
Reach out to them.
Ask how they’re doing.
Call them…
Watch them engage online.
Read through their testimonials.
Ask them how you can be OF BETTER service to them.
What you focus on, GROWS.
So, if you want MORE clients, customers, patients or members…
or even podcast listeners, blog readers, Facebook followers…
WHATEVER…
Focus on the ones you ALREADY have…
and watch them MULTIPLY.
