HINT: LAST WEEK I PLANTED $57,510 WORTH OF SEEDS.
It’s funny how the habits we once depended on so heavily can slip away from us…. once loved and cherished, now forgotten.
In one of my higher level programs, the members “weigh in” each week. They report progress, including income, (Of course.) but also leads and subscribers, etc. Essentially, measuring whatever matters. (What you measure, gets better.)
And one of the things I’ve noticed some of them doing, is something I USED to do:
MEASURING THE DOLLARS INHERENT IN
THE PROPOSALS I SENT OUT.
In other words, I used to measure and track how much potential income I’d proposed. So if I sent out 4 proposals, each for $12,500, I’d write down that I’d sent out $50K in proposals.
Now, just like with seeds,
not EVERY seed takes root and produces a harvest.
Some were sewn on rocky soil,
others were eaten by birds,
still others are just slow growers, and will show up later… their natural harvest in hand.
But SOME seeds do return
quickly,
with cash.
And reporting
or recording
the seeds you’re planting does something.
First, if money is a problem in your business, you may be able to see that you’re planting FAR TOO FEW seeds. But also, seeing the numbers that you’ve “Proposed out” (I.e. planted) increases hope.
You can literally SEE the potential of what’s coming your way. Will EVERYONE say yes? Probably not. But many will. Will EVERYONE say no? No. Some seeds ALWAYS produce. It’s what seeds DO.
If you start measuring SEEDS,
you’ll SOON see a simple,
predictable,
common-sensical correlation:
The more you propose / sell…
the more money you make.
