I occasionally run into women entrepreneurs who confuse Women Who WOW with a leads or networking group. While they don’t say these actual words, the response is “I’m too cool for school.” lol…
One recently said she doesn’t work with beginners, insinuating WOW is full of beginners, which is — of course — the furthest thing from the truth. In her defense, she just has no idea, but I think it’s unfortunate that — as a mentor herself — she’s confused a mastermind or a mentor or a coach as a savior….
Something reserved for the neediest of the needy…the most basic of beginners, someone just starting out. (When the BEST in EVERY industry actively seek out high level support AND community.)
WOW (and others of our ilk) isn’t something reserved as a place to go quickly and pick up any possible lead (someone with a pulse) that can be hounded like a dog on a bone… a place reserved for women entrepreneurs just trying to survive.
I used to think something similar when i was a newer, younger coach. And I tried to sell to those who really NEEDED my services. Made sense to me, at the time, right? But, who knew, because they NEEDED my services to survive (financially) they couldn’t afford me. #Catch22 It took me longer than I’d like to admit to realize I needed to redefine my mission.
The truth is…
I don’t want to SAVE businesses.
I don’t want to be in RESCUE mode, high adrenaline, OMG.. if this doesn’t come in, we’re going to have to close our doors.
I didn’t want to be surrounded by that adrenaline-producing energy.
The harder truth was that those in dyer straights don’t hire coaches or join groups like WOW. They are saving money, going it alone, and determined to “figure it out.” They have an entirely different mindset, and will invest in support “one day.”
it was a good thing they couldn’t — or wouldn’t — hire me back then… because I didn’t want that role.
I wanted to roll up my sleeves and partner with women who were Upleveling… those who were leveraging their expertise, creating something new, building a brand around themselves, ebbing and flowing with the market, and THRIVING.
Excited.
Growing.
Evolving.
Serving.
Shining.
Being Seen.
So, Women Who WOW isn’t about survival. We’re about THRIVING.
This isn’t about just making money or getting clients. That’s a great start, of course, but we’re REALLY about creating aligned money… money that comes ON DEMAND, money that is created on your terms… often times, LEVERAGED money. It’s about having clients COME TO YOU, credit card in hand, ready to pay whatever amount you suggest….
because they know they’re your people.
And vice versa.
Anything else is a story of lack.
Or a story of ladder climbing.
Let me just do all of this junk for a while… stuff I hate or dread or whatever until I get “big enough” to stop. (More on that here: http:// www.bmichellepippin.com/ stop-right-now-crap-hate/ )
Or a story of earning my way, not aiming too high, not biting off more than I can chew.
A story of not swinging for the fences because I’m afraid of striking out.
A story I’m QUITE familiar with, as you may imagine, which is why I nearly RAGE when I see it played out on the battlefield of business.
This is why WOW is here… to support women who support women… to URGE and PUSH women entrepreneurs to create WILD (outrageous, unreasonable) success
without being tethered to the rules or what’s “normal” or what is “reasonable” or what is “expected.”
It’s about surprising ourselves…
and each other.
LOOK what we can accomplish.
Together.

P.S. Do you KNOW a coach who really wants to STOP coaching? =) =) I mean, someone who wants to build an “empire” rather than a 1:1 practice that requires days of “booked solid” appointments?
Or am I the only coach who really hated the entire “coaching model” that requires you to show up, on command, at a specific time for 20 (or MORE???) appointments a week?
