Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year, simply because it’s a time of celebrated and beautiful transition.
And I’m in a LOT of conversations about transitions lately. Transitioning out of one business, transitioning into a new level of business, transitioning away from certain clients, etc.
And while — personally — I PREFER a simple life where change is kept to a minimum, neither life nor business permits such a thing. I might resist or grumble about it, but I know without transition, nothing changes. Nothing grows. And so I embrace it.
Today, I’m in a bit of a contemplative mood. =) So, I want to ask you to consider the following, in honor of FALL.
1) What have you fallen FOR in your business? Lies of passion and profit without perspiration, maybe? Myths about what it takes to succeed? Maybe you’ve fallen for a new line of products or a new target market that you can’t wait to serve.
2) What have you fallen INTO in your business? Any bad habits you’ve fallen into? Patterns of behavior that aren’t proving successful? Maybe you’ve fallen into a beautiful niche that was hiding in plain sight for you.
3) What have you fallen OUT of in your business? Fallen out of love with what you do everyday? Fallen out of “like” with your clients? Out of sync with your market?
Let’s FALL forward. Together. Let’s transition deliberately. I’m here to help you in any way I can.
xox,
Michelle
