If you’re not SURE of the difference a proven, reliable sales funnel can make in your business…. imagine having a solid sales person who continues to market for you, going into the community, bringing back qualified leads, talking them through the know, like, trust factor of your business, and then inviting them to say YES to your favorite offer.
This sales person doesn’t take a commission and doesn’t require a salary. They do not complain, do not take sick days, and will NEVER embarrass your brand by a horrific Facebook post or sexual harassment scandal.
This sales person is a sales funnel…
And, funnels can be (dare I say, SHOULD be) simple.
WAYYYYYY simpler than I once imagined.
Funnels can be built on ANY program you’re currently using, because the TECHNOLOGY of funnels is so incredibly secondary to the STRATEGY of funnels.
It’s the STRATEGY of a sales funnel that makes it a consistent cash machine.

But, let’s all dig in to a bit of the BASICS of designing a sales funnel right here and now.
STEP ONE: WHO, WHERE & WHAT.
First, of course, you’ve got to figure out WHO you want to invite into your funnel, WHERE the funnel begins and WHAT “bribe” you’re giving away that invites people to ENTER the funnel. I have a quick video training on this topic, which you can find HERE.
This video was created in 2013 and details the EXACT same process I’ve used in my business since 1999. #battletested #timeless.
Once you know the WHO, you’ll know the WHERE. Essentially, you’ll ask: Where are they hanging out already? THIS location is where your funnel starts. Keep in mind, the WHERE can be a specific social media platform OR it can be a specific live event. I have had funnels start with someone handing me their business card (which they were told ONLY to do if they wanted a particular — free — offer) and I’ve had funnels start on the back end of a Facebook post…. and every imaginable place in between.
The WHAT is important… but it should be something that solves an immediate problem for them, is easy to consume (“a fast read,” for example.) Whatever your WHAT is…. it should be perfectly tailored to your WHO.
Now, the entire point of STEP ONE is to get an ideal prospect to raise their hand and say, “Yeah… I’d like to know more. I’m willing to come inside and hang a while with you.”
Quick note if you’re PRIMARILY concerned with ONLINE funnels, in order to get the MOST people INTO your funnel, you must be FOUR things:
- Consistent. You’ve got to show up relentlessly.
- Compelling. You’ve go to have something to SAY… not mindless chatter or repetition. My program will teach you how to do / be both.
- Entertaining. Bore them to tears and they’ll leave.
- Helpful. You’re not JUST an entertainer. You’re an expert or a soap maker or an attorney or a chiropractor. So, use what you know to be helpful.

STEPS TWO & THREE : Give them what you promised, but then…. Put a “touch” in your Sales Funnel that DELIVERS the answer to this question:
If I were responding PERSONALLY to each person who enters my funnel, where would I want them to start?
