Guys, it is NOT just you.
Selling HAS changed,
because buying has changed
because budgets and priorities have changed.
BUT ALSO…
because our view of what to TRUST
and WHO to trust
and what is “trustworthy” has changed.
For 6-9 months, I have been under the hood of some big name companies, who came because WHAT FORMERLY WORKED LIKE CLOCKWORK stopped working. Some began going negative by multi-six figures per MONTH. The ads KEPT bringing in leads, NOTHING had changed about their funnels or process, but the sales,
they just dried up.
THE KEY FOR ALL OF THEM: Nothing changed in their process or approach. EVEN as nearly EVERYTHING in the world of their client had changed.
There is a NEW CROP of FULLY LEGIT personalities — TRUE, PROVEN experts — on the scene, paying NO Attention to LOOKING like the big names. They’re pulling in PROFIT numbers that the bigger names — secretly — can’t figure out.
(I can and do and DID help these big names turn things around. My advice will be in the training for members today, and some in the cliff notes version.)
KNOW THIS: TRUTH is making a come back,
distancing itself from appearances or “social media cred.”
And INTIMACY in marketing is huge.
Fakery and “omg, I can’t believe I just did this” silliness
combined with scripted BS
that ignores the HUMANITY of your market,
that ignores the intelligence of your market
WILL KEEP FALLING SHORT.
Period.
The world has changed.
TRUST and INTIMACY is what people need to have from you.
AND it CAN be created to scale.
(It takes a bit of creativity and a lot of courage, but it’s QUICKLY do-able.)
