Before you read this, you should know that these things FIRE ME UP. I am outraged by them, and I can’t be alone… can I??
So, I have a google alert for the term “women entrepreneurs.” I’m cancelling it because it’s ALL about (8 out of 10 featured stories DAILY) helping us, giving the poor little woman entrepreneur another “leg up” so we can succeed.
I am ALL about women succeeding,
and particularly women succeeding financially,
on their OWN terms
but our legs are JUST fine, thanks.
I LOVE being a woman.
I make no apologies for it
NOR do I use it as any sort of excuse.
I’d much rather hear about another woman succeeding than another program aimed at giving us some grant because we were born with vulvas. I’ll earn my money, thanks.
So, the headlines…

(I point out that these ads are paid ads because most of these companies have tested which ads are proven to get the most clicks!!!)

There are more… peppering the internet, all seemingly aimed at women who feel they need to be TAUGHT how to magnetize a man, or how to keep someone’s attention..
like we’re looking for another set of rules to follow… another Measuring stick, another check list, another LIST of how we are to SHOW UP in this world…
if we are to get what we want,
which is:
RESPECT
ABUNDANCE
AFFIRMATION
ACCEPTANCE
CONFIDENCE
LOYALTY
BEING DESIRED & CHOSEN
BEING HEARD & PURSUED.
The only thing is.. there is no check list.
And ANY check list you’re trying to follow will FURTHER dilute your actual soul’s voice and impact and potential…
it will FURTHER dial down your intuition,
your confidence
and your security.
Why?
Because you are NOT a human doing.
YOu are a human BEING
and not ONE of US is called to
fall in line playing “mirror the leader”
following a set of “shoulds”
designed to WHAT??
Make us worthy of what
is already our birthright?
No thanks and hell to the no.
I’m shocked and disheartened that these headlines are getting clicks. Because I know that the women I’m around, the women I work with are CERTAINLY not looking for another list to check off. They simply want to BE
themselves
all of them,
and they want this
(who they really are)
to be enough.
They want to be able to trust themselves, and their ideas. They want to stop second-guessing, stop selling themselves short. They want to stand up for themselves quicker, to demand what they deserve without feeling like they’re being “needy” or demanding. They want to STOP feeling like they need to DO more to earn anyone’s attention or affection. They want to be SECURE in their relationships, in their money, in their own skin. They want to stop comparing themselves with other women… because deep down, they RECOGNIZE their own unique brilliance. And they want to fully own it.
We were all BORN with these desires…
the desire to show up AUTHENTICALLY
and be celebrated and chosen and loved
for who we REALLY are…
We were BORN with the desire to be confident and certain… which is why when our certainty and confidence is eroded…
we feel SO lost and SO pitiful.
It’s because our NORMAL
NATURAL
state
is soul certainty.
Anything less… and we start questioning EVERYTHING.
Our curves, our lines, our income, our brand, our words, our clothes, our reputation, our bodies, our gut.
But, don’t be deceived…
the way BACK to SOUL CERTAINTY
will never be new rules and new protocols.
The way BACK is remembering…
the way BACK is laying down your mistakes and failures,
the way BACK is laying that betrayal down — ON THEIR LAWN– rather than carrying it with you,
the way BACK is a gold mine treasure hunt…
and you have ALL you need inside of you.
Besides, what if you “magnetize” that man or that audience by following someone else’s “system” for being magnetic. Can you imagine the agony, the headache, the BOREDOM of keeping UP that charade?
