One of the most fun parts of my business –today– is the EASE with which clients show up and sign themselves up for my programs. I’ve always known how to market and sell. I’ve gotten better at it over the years…and I can teach you how to make all of this EASIER, more EFFECTIVE, frankly… more guaranteed. (IF you’re willing to do the work, #ofcourse)
But that’s more about the push, the hunt.
And, while I love that,
while I have ALWAYS been and always WILL be a hustler….
and will NEVER shy away from doing MY part,
on repeat,
until my goals are achieved…
that’s not what I’m talking about here.
I’m talking about a near magnetic demand,
where people who are brand new to you
show up READY.
No need for that email funnel or fancy webinar.
They just walk in,
not ONLY ready to pay (of course)
but also ready to do the work,
ready to throw their heart over the bar of life
and allow their body to follow.
Every business owner I know has a desire for this EASE of client acquisition. Partly this is due to persistence, consistency and being ABSOLUTELY committed to ruthless authenticity. #obviously I’ve been here, showing up for a long time. This push is what I’ve always taught. But there’s more.
There’s this little Bible verse that came flooding to me this morning, when I was journaling and planning my day. “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:30.
I can’t think of something that doesn’t SUFFER and eventually DIE when saddled with unreasonable burden. Plants. Animals. People. Friendships. Marriages. Homes.
And, of course, businesses.
At each of my events, one of the first things I mention is that there is NO hashtag I need them to use. (To promote me and my brand. lol…) I don’t burden my people with affiliate pressures. I don’t burden them with ANYthing other than the LEGITIMATE burden of their own goals and potential.
Hint: Unused, untapped potential… is a VERY heavy burden to bear indeed… perhaps the HEAVIEST. So if you are feeling WEIGHTED DOWN by your own YET untapped potential… if you are SICK of being pregnant with all of your goals which

Back to burden and business.
While I was EFFECTIVE as a business strategist, my burden was pretty heavy. ONLY the nearly masochistic do-ers would sign up, lol… =) I have a not-so-secret love for this small group of driven people I coached (many for nearly a decade.)
My burden was heavy because the way I knew how to grow a business through that first six figure mark and beyond … was to gut it out. DEFINITELY ignore most of the business B.S…. but go ALL IN on your hustle, ALL the time.
I was — and am — relentless.
in my pursuit.
This is hardwired in me.
But now… I’ve added something to the mix.
Something that takes you from where you are RIGHT NOW to where you really want to be, without such a heavy burden.
In fact, one of the most common — and most exciting — “thanks” I get is from women who tell me that their husband has noticed huge changes in them since they began working with me. Passion. Joy. Peace. Confidence. Drive. Autonomy. Their families are taking notice.
The BURDEN of the business “stuff”
has been replaced
by a much lighter, much easier flow.
Sure, I still require the unthinkable and unreasonable =)
the DAILY showing up for your brand.
But anything worth doing is worth doing daily, right?
plus, I know you.
The HABIT of going within,
connecting with your deepest desires and goals and thoughts,
and then RELEASING a message to your market
that educates, entertains or equips…
is an addictive thing.
It’s an escape for us as messengers.
It becomes a “can’t not” activity.
So, even the unreasonable and unthinkable requirement becomes something you fall in love with… it becomes easy… and light.
OTHER THAN THAT
other the outrageous “daily messaging” request
that you EVENTUALLY come to crave,
my yoke is easy, my burden is light.
And that’s the key.
To ongoing and increasing demand.
Whatever you sell…
whatever you do…
whatever industry you’re in…
make sure it lessens their burden in some way,
lightens the load.
You CAN make money by ADDING to their toil,
by layering strategy on top of strategy on top of more “shoulds” and unrelenting “must dos,”
but you build a FOLLOWING,
you build an EMPIRE,
you build DEMAND
by stripping all of this back…
by simplifying whatever result you sell.
by unburdening them from their old paradigm,
by lightening their load.
