Twice a month I get to talk 1:1 to the Women Who WOW members. Every conversation starts like this:
“Hey! It’s Michelle. Tell me what’s going on and how I can help.” And then… we dig RIGHT in.
These are my favorite two days of the month. I love hearing the wins of our members… and — equally — I love plugging into their current situation to help them continuously grow, curate & leverage their own success.
🎉 Huge tax bills… paid in full.
🎉 Memberships filled.
🎉 Programs selling.
🎉$500,000 goal, met.
🎉 $100,000 goal, met early.
🎉New location opened.
🎉Event filled.
Several times today I heard these women describe their current situation in a way that makes it 100% OBVIOUS that they are on the verge of a major, MAJOR breakthrough.
Swiped from an article I wrote 6 months ago, here are the 4 TELL TALE signs that you need to keep going because your breakthrough woman… is
on
its
way:
You’re D.O.N.E.
(D) You are feeling DEFIANT.
If you find yourself in a place where you don’t care who or what you lose or what you must pay or go through, woman…. keep walking. You’ve just surrendered all the things you used to hold (too) tight. And that is ALWAYS one of the last steps before you walk into your own personal promised land. Lay it all down. Shake your fists if you must, but keep walking. BETTER is coming.
(O) You are feeling OUTRAGED.
All of the sudden, the thing you thought would be “really great” to have or be or happen… is more than just “great,” it’s necessary. And what’s more? You find it all of the sudden OUTRAGEOUS that it hasn’t happened yet, that you’re not there yet, that you don’t have that yet. It feels as if the world is topsy turvy, and things are not “right.” Now you know that in a completely real sense, that thing or goal is YOURS.
(N) You know you’ll NEVER stop.
You go from trying this and that, to going all in. You make the investment, you get the help, you don’t dilly dally. You know that no matter what, you will NEVER stop until that breakthrough occurs. This decision in your soul, the one that often occurs on the backside of you being defiant and outraged, seems to flip a switch in the world. I can’t explain it, but great things happen when all of the sudden you stop playing around, go all in and stare the world in the eye and say, “UNTIL NOTHING… UNTIL IT HAPPENS.” I’ll continue UNTIL.
(E) You are EXPECTANT.
You will no longer be surprised when what you are after shows up, because you FULLY expect it to.
So, I affirmed them…
they are CLEARLY “on the verge,”
and many asked,
“So, what am I missing? What do you see that I could be doing differently?”
Here’s a summary of my various answers to that question:
🦊 YOUR OFFER NEEDS TO BE VISIBLE.
Now, this is different than YOU being visible. This is making it VERY clear what you are selling and how they can buy. Many times, we focus so much on “branding” or “awareness” that we forget to REMIND people how to work with us… and why they should.
Side note: Don’t stay on the outside…
reading all the free stuff,
sitting in the “cheap seats.”
Join your high drive, high potential sisters.
We’re over here killing it,
stumbling and falling, of course.
But moving forward always.
Cheering each other on.
Picking each other up.
Women Who WOW.

Part mentorship.
Part sisterhood.

So, FIND A WAY to make what happens with your private clients, patients and customers VISIBLE to others who SHOULD be clients, patients and customers.
🦊 IT NEEDS TO BE OBVIOUS WHY YOUR MARKET SHOULD WORK WITH YOU / BUY FROM YOU / JOIN YOUR PROGRAM.
This is often assumed by business owners…
and missed by prospects.
In other words, WE assume it’s OBVIOUS why they should say yes, and THEY are missing it. We’re so close to our own stuff we assume our market would INSTANTLY know why they should say yes… what’s in it for them.
But they don’t.
So, CALL IT OUT. Make it plain and obvious. Let the world know what they stand to gain (or avoid) by saying “yes.” to your offer.
🦊 YOU NEED TO ASK PEOPLE TO BUY FROM YOU.
Don’t leave the invite un-spoken.
Don’t make your people wonder if your product or program is “for them.”
Don’t leave it to them to invite themselves.
Be a generous host.
Invite them and give them a way to ask questions or say yes.
Do this publicly (Like I did above) and do it privately via 1:1 conversations.
Use the words, “I can help you.” and then… tell them how.
And, don’t get all timid on me at the very end… Follow up. Let them know that you were serious about your offer, and also… about your belief in your ability to help them.
What else?
What else is missing?
Nothing.
Just a firm vision, a strong drive, and a daily commitment.
