There are THREE main components that determine the size and consistency of your income:
- DEAL FLOW (Do you have enough people becoming aware of — and interested in —your work?)
- DEAL QUALITY (Are they the RIGHT people? Meaning, they are motivated to solve the problem you help them solve AND have the ability and willingness to pay for your work…)
- ASKING FOR THE SALE (INCLUDING HOW & HOW OFTEN YOU ASK FOR THE SALE)

But for now, I want to talk LARGELY about that third component… ASKING FOR THE SALE. Women Who WOW members this week are looking at their sales numbers. We’re looking at the past week and tallying $$ earned, sales made, and — MOST IMPORTANTLY — how many people we invited to do business with us in the past week. And, we’re looking to increase those numbers THIS week.
MOST of the time, people struggle with money because they do everything BUT ask for the sale. =) They blog or podcast or facebook LIVE. They network (ugh), re-do their website, hire a graphic designer, write a book, show up at conferences, spend THOUSANDS of DOLLARS and COUNTLESS hours getting their message “clear,” or honing their brand….
and
then…
And then NOTHING. (I know… I’m baffled by it too.)
As if they’re waiting for clients to come to them.
As if they’re honestly expecting — despite YEARS of evidence to the contrary — the clients just to show up, credit card in hand, waiting to be directed to an offer.
PLEASE KNOW that this DOES start to happen.
Eventually…
with a RUTHLESSLY consistent commitment
to showing up DAILY,
with RECKLESS authenticity,
always (ALWAYS) making an ask, and
giving GENEROUSLY to a market that may not even know who you are… YET.
With ALL of this in place,
Eventually…
people DO show and and say,
“I’ve been reading / listening to you and I want IN.”
BUT, if your DAILY showing up
doesn’t EVEN MENTION the offers or the programs or the work they would / should want to do with you,
HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY KNOW WHAT THEY SHOULD WANT IN ON??
So, YES.
Show up daily and authentically with an ask that is public and general.
But, also…
for the love of all things HOLY,
make OTHER asks.
Ready to get down and dirty?
Ready to do the CONFRONTING work that will COMPEL you to do more and better? To make More money while working with clients you LOVE?

How OFTEN are YOU currently ASKING for people to do business with you?
This means, asking A person,
one-on-one
via private email
or phone call
or face to face meeting…
to work with you,
to buy from you,
to attend your conference,
to join your program,
to engage your services.
How OFTEN are you doing that?

One, I’m PROUD of women who WOW.
I’m proud of the difference it is making in the lives of women entrepreneurs. I’m proud of our diversity and how UNIFIED we are… I’m proud of our community and the ALIGNED hustlers we have within our ranks. And I CAN’T IMAGINE smart women entrepreneurs NOT joining us. Honestly… I just can’t.

it’s a habit.
I make more money because I SELL more.
Period.
I can NOT help people just lurking around my blog or Facebook page as deeply as I can help them if they are in this community… and so I ASK.

1 to 1.
5 days a week,
sometimes more.
And, you know what…
this takes me MAYBE 10 minutes.

HOW OFTEN ARE YOU ASKING FOR PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU?

HOW are YOU currently ASKING for people to do business with you?
Are you asking “timidly?” Like, as you’re walking away from a conversation, tossing out an “Alrighty then…. I guess just let me know what you think……” over your left shoulder as you hurriedly dig for your keys?
Or are you asking DIRECTLY, INTENTIONALLY, AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY??? Because, no offense, but if you’re not selling something that you can look someone in the eye — with confidence and enthusiasm — and say, “Do this with me.” Well… you’re probably selling the wrong thing.
So, over to you: HOW and HOW OFTEN are you asking for people to do business with you? It matters. And when you ASK daily, boldly, confidently and enthusiastically… here’s what i PROMISE:
