Let’s not mince words. MOST business owners are scurrying around, busier than they want to be, and with less profit than they want to admit. MOST business owners. These business owners, though, aren’t NOT trying. They’re networking, speaking, advertising, talking to other business owners, trying social media, sponsoring events, hiring team members, bringing on partners.
And none of it is giving them the windfall they need… and want. They see others making money, but they are frustrated by not being able to replicate their competitors success. Sure, they’re the boss, but they’re working long hours and feeling like their income is capped.
They’re working too hard, for not enough money, and dealing with less-than-ideal (i.e. PIA) clients.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. Here, we simplify success. We de-complicate the path to profit. Because what is simple gets done.
I remember hearing a quote about how the quality of an answer we get is dependent on the questions we ask. Business owners are struggling in large part because they are asking the wrong questions… questions like:
- How should I be using social media?
- How can I get my name out there?
- How can I meet more people?
- Which media outlet should I use?
These are all GREAT questions… GREAT for the person who’s selling you social media services, banner ads, networking membership and commercials. Not so great for you… the person FUNDING all of this “get my name out there” activity.
So, what question simplifies and creates profit? What ONE question will give you the BEST return today? Try this one on for size.
How can I walk ideal clients — who will cheerfully pay my fees — towards viewing my business as THE solution they’re looking for?
This is a GREAT question… and while it is simple, it gets your brain working in a way that makes it akin to a profit seeking missile.
- It gets you thinking about who (exactly) is an ideal client. By the way, you should have a list of NAMES not a detailed demographic. A LIST of names…. NO SELLING ever happens between a demographic and a person. Selling ONLY occurs between two people.
- It reminds you that you will WALK WITH ideal clients… walking with them as they go from interest to commitment. Selling shouldn’t be an event. It is a relationship.
- It reminds you that there IS (always) a market willing to pay premium fees. There’s quite literally a market for every price point, across industries.
- It reminds you that you must BE / OFFER a solution… not just an OPTION.
So, there you have it. ONE question that turns YOU into a profit master. 28 Shades of PAID this month, folks…. because we are determined to EARN what we DESERVE.
