(And they lose effectiveness EVERY single time you use them.)
OF COURSE, there are times when a business needs to be rescued.
You over-extended yourself financially,
or fell on an un-expected, but EXTENDED “dry season.”
I get it.
Seriously… I TOTALLY get it.
I have been here myself and I have helped many others when they were there.
❌ “Payroll is due, and I need a plan.”
❌ “Mortgage is due, and I need a plan.”
❌ ” I am behind and I need a BIG plan.”
Here’s the thing… and do NOT mistake this for financial advice, which I do not dare to give. This is MARKETING and SALES advice:
YOUR MORTGAGE IS DUE EVERY SINGLE MONTH.
PAYROLL COMES AROUND AT REGULAR INTERVALS.
YOUR NEED FOR MONEY IS NOT SITUATIONAL… YOU NEED MONEY REGULARLY.
So, if you need a marketing or sales plan TODAY, no sweat at ALL. Let’s do this thing! But whatever habits, thoughts, procrastination, etc. that got you HERE… in a pit in need of a rescue plan…

Don’t do that again next month!
Behavioral Congruency = Results Congruency.
That’s a key truth, actually.
Behavioral Congruency = Results Congruency.
So, the behaviors from the past month, got you the results you are seeing now. So if you want those RESULTS to change, you will need to change your BEHAVIOR.
If you want HER results,
make your BEHAVIOR congruent with hers.
If you want the results from your HIGHEST EARNING MONTH ever, make your BEHAVIOR congruent with what you DID during that month.
But if you need a rescue plan THIS MONTH,
please, change your BEHAVIORS for next month.
Because…
Rescue missions DO work.
We CAN and DO design SOS strategies to create a cash influx.
But every time you use them…
they lose effectiveness.
I remember this athletic shoe store in my area.
(they are closed now.. which is sad.)
Every other week, they had a buy one, get one 1/2 off sale.
Literally, every other week.
I’ve got three kids.
I waited for the sale.
He lost effectiveness in selling on the off weeks..
and he lost profit when selling during sale weeks.
Eventually, of course,
there were no more rescues.
This man,
his dream,
much of his retirement,
but mainly… his excitement about the future of this store he so clearly believed in….
became a corpse on the battlefield of business.
Full of potential,
but lacking profit,
and all rescued-out.
Which is why I BEG entrepreneurs to sell
EVERY
DAY.
