You know you’ve come across a great product, when you get a late evening call from a member of your team asking if they can come and “get some” from you after hours. This is exactly what went down between Randi and I with one of the two sponsors we are featuring today: Coco Luxe Coconut Oil in a Tube.
Coco Luxe Coconut Oil in a Tube
Heather created Coco Luxe Coconut Oil in a Tube to solve two very important problems. The first being able to be healthy at home, and on the go. The second? Usability. She discovered coconut oil over a year ago and quickly began to use it for everything. She then r
ealized that the jar packaging wasn’t an ideal way to use it for the things she was using it for. She tried a couple of different packaging — a small cosmetic pot and a squirt container. Then, she realized she needed a mix of the two and thought of the tube! She couldn’t keep it full! It then dawned on her that with all of the blogs about using coconut oil as a home remedy and the people who introduced her to coconut oil would find the tube VERY useful.
Randi uses the oil her son’s excema. I use the oil for my hair and face routine. I LOVE it. The branding is great, but theconvenience of having the oil in the tube is brilliant!
Heather has learned so much in her business to only make TRUE comparisons if she has to make them at all, and to keep going. Smart woman! She also learned that adapting is crucial — if something’s not working, it must be hammered out SOMETIMES requiring a grave change. She’s learned to view problems, not as problems, but as something that needs attention, a stepping stone, a learning curve, or just a solution that hasn’t presented itself yet.
Slightly Melted
Slightly melted products are ALSO a WOW favorite and a real crowd pleaser. The scrubs are naturally and beautifully scented and really feel luxurious on your skin. Sarah, the creator of “Slightly Melted,” is a woman who enjoys using scrubs — sugar scrubs, ground almond scrubs, etc. — BUT she didn’t like how slippery they would leave her shower floor. (YUCK!! We “get” it Sarah!) So, she would only use them in the bath and even then, she would get out of the bath oily, and greasy because they wouldn’t “melt” in the water. This is where the name “Slightly Melted” began.
She decided she wanted something partly soap, with a little moisturizer, and very “scrubby”. She wanted something that was going to exfoliate her skin without leaving it greasy, so after trying over and over again she found the right formula! –Shower Mochi– It’s doughy, moldable, holds color, and it’s easy to store. She can add different kinds of exfoliants — rice flour, different textures of sugar, ground seeds, nuts, you name it.
The biggest lesson in business that she has learned? There is always MORE to learn and more people to learn from. She has confidence in herself AND her product. She knows she will fail if she lets herself . But she has the drive to share her product with the world to reach her goals and get her where she wants to be! Keep on rocking on Sarah!
