K.B. Lee — the founder of Ever Bamboo — is one of my personal heroes. As a mother of three (very active) teenagers, our home and our vehicles have battled “the stink” that all baseball/ softball/ hunting moms know…. Shoes — very expensive, but made wet with sweat– that take on a horrific stench and permeate throughout your home and car.
Well, Lee was looking for a new business opportunity when he “just kind of stumbled on the product” when he was travelling in Asia. After learning the difference between conventional air fresheners (masking and toxic) and bamboo charcoal (eliminating and natural), he is on a mission to make the world a little less stinky, one odor at a time. Their slogan at Ever Bamboo is Rethink the Stink! And we’re so glad they did.
It’s NO WONDER that Ever Bamboo was featured on The View as one of Whoopi’s favorite things. These little bamboo heroes really work. In fact, one of our Women Who WOW members came to me one week after being introduced to Ever Bamboo and said,
“Oh my gosh… those little black bamboo things, really worked!” She, her athletic household and her husband (whose weight lifting blunder made him famous on America’s funniest home videos.) tested and PROVED this product.
The biggest lesson K.B. has learned is not to give up and keep going despite adversity. It took 7 years for him to start gaining traction and he could have quit many times throughout the process but he says building anything great takes time.
