We all fail.
I fail a lot.
I’ve failed a lot for a long time.
I’ve cancelled an event (lost about $20K to do so) because I wasn’t in integrity with my sponsors. I’ve launched programs that I ended up doing for 4-5 people because it just didn’t sell like I anticipated. I’ve made commitments to myself that I didn’t keep.
Make no mistake.
I do not gloss over these failures.
I see them AS failures…. as BIG misses.
Because that is what they were.
Big fat failures.
But, failure isn’t a dirty word in my book.
Failing is just, you know, part of the process.
I’m doing big things.
Building something bigger than me.
And failure is part of it.
While it NEVER feels great….
I’ve found that there is ONE factor that will determine the IMPACT failure has on your future:
HOW MUCH TIME YOU ALLOW YOURSELF BETWEEN THE FAILURE AND YOUR NEXT “AT BAT.”
I used to take a lot longer to nurse my wounds.
And while I NEVER glossed over the FAILURE itself, I had ALL SORTS of “evolved excuses” for what happened next:
I didn’t call it timidity.
I didn’t admit I was gun shy and afraid to step back in the ring.
I didn’t admit that I was afraid my ego — or bank account — couldn’t take another loss.
Oh no…
I created MUCH more evolved excuses…
I pretended I was preparing.
I made remarks about “Timing” and “not pushing the string.”
I convinced myself that
stepping back,
REFUSING to take another swing at bat,
and playing in the safety of the dug out —
where I was SURE not to score,
but also didn’t risk getting hit or striking out —
was somehow WISE.
Uggg.
In my fear and hiding and timidity,
the STENCH of my failure grew.
It began to taint everything I WAS doing.
And the ONLY solution,
to shake the stench
was to get off the bench…
to get back in the game.
And the FASTER I stepped up to swing again,
the LESS impact failure had on me, my brand, and my bank account.
The less time that passes after failure,
before you try again,
the less impact failure has on you.
So, I encourage you….
to give yourself
MAXIMUM
a week…
(and that is for a BIG catastrophic failure)
before you get back up
dust yourself off,
and get back at the plate,
ready to swing
again
for the fences.
Speaking of failures…
one of the programs I’m offering on my Black Friday – Cyber Monday RIDICULOUS sale…
was a HUGE under performer.
(Can you guess which one?)
It launched (not too long ago) with an original group of maybe 15 people. (Should have been 150, in my opinion.)
BUT, it was of my MOST transformational.
And to date, it has sold MORE “copies” than any of my other programs. And it’s being sold now with a price that is RIDICULOUSLY low.
The sale is the Who’s Who
and What’s What
of Pippin Programs…
all with prices SLASHED, AT LEAST by 50%…
in some cases, by 75% or more.
I had fun curating this list of Black Friday programs for you…
and I can’t wait to see which ones you choose!!
>> Betting On You, a 30 Day Immersion Journey into Mental Toughness. Was $297… now less than a 1/3 of that.
