THE SECRET TO MY SUCCESS IS THIS: I AM A CREATIONIST.
Few things irritate me more than people who are always trying to FIND something important.
I’m not talking about the infinite number of mornings where my husband can’t find his wallet, his keys or his socks… although this happens more frequently than ANYONE may imagine, lol… #kiddingnotkidding
I’m talking about the REALLY important stuff… like time, or money or even yourself.
Newsflash, #bosslady:
You’ll never FIND the TIME to do what’s most important. You’ll have to CREATE that time, SET IT ASIDE and then PROTECT it.
While there are infomercials and ads teaching us how to “FIND” money owed to us, I’ve found it much more effective to CREATE the money I need or want.
“Let me see where I can FIND the money” may be more reasonable coming from someone with J-O-B. After all, they make what they make. But, for an #entrepreneur? Oh no… we CREATE our income and sign our own paychecks. We don’t “find” extra money… We ALWAYS create it.
It’s what we do.
And don’t get me started on all of these DROVES of women investing in courses and retreats and books designed to help you “FIND yourself.”
SERIOUSLY???
There is no “YOU” to find. You are a #drivenwoman. You are a creator. A job creator. An income creator. A messenger. Maybe even a preacher of sorts.
And you CREATE yourself.
every.
single.
day.
FINDING myself would mean looking backwards.
Looking for what supposedly already “is,”
All while my BEST POSSIBLE WORK can only be created TODAY.
I don’t want to find myself. I want to create and re-create myself every morning. Who do I need to be today? What am I called to be today? How can I grow today?
You see, all successful #womeninbiz are CREATIONISTS.
We may want to FIND a great spa, the right car, the perfect bag, amazing shoes, or whatever…. But everyday, we CREATE our world, our future, our paychecks, our opportunities.
On repeat.
