one that they will enjoy and — therefore — continue,
one that they will STAND UPON and BUILD UPON and feel proud of and excited about.
Because there is ONE thing that ALL wildly successful people have in common.
ALL of us.
Regardless of gender.
Regardless of industry.
Regardless of age.
Regardless of ANY “differentiator,”
ALL wildly successful people
HONORED themselves as the DRIVER of their success.
I did some research this long Labor Day weekend. =)
I looked at some 100+ “systems” or secrets being sold / endorsed by a wide variety of people at varying levels of success and celebrity.
WHAT EACH “success story” — used to sell a success SYSTEM — has in common is that they are BUILT on someone following their OWN inner GPS system… their own guidance… their own ideas.
So, watch what people DO…
not what they SELL.
And when what they SELL,
is different than what they DO,
RUN!!
Run for the hills.
Fast.
And keep your wallet safely secured.
Now, for a bit of Q&A.
Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE selling YOU the opportunity to put YOUR name as the author on THEIR book / work made it to where they are by paying to legally plagiarize someone else?
A: Not one.
Q: HOW MANY leaders in YOUR niche are leading because they have re-packaged the rights to someone else’s work?
A: Not one.
Q: HOW MANY accountability meetings — the cornerstone of the Weight Watchers program — has Oprah attended to lose or maintain her weight?
A: Not one. =)
Q: HOW DO THESE SAID GURUS SELL SAID SYSTEMS?
A: By touting the benefits of following a SYSTEM you learn from someone else? NOPE. By telling you about ALL of the B.S. they TRIED that left them broke and bummed… by telling you the mistakes they made and the money they wasted trying to follow someone else’s system.
Ironically.
Of course, most people seem to be IMMUNE to irony.
they JUST don’t see it.
Like I don’t see dishes in the sink,
or piles of laundry that need to be done, I suppose.
So, watch what people DO.
NOT what they SELL.
WILD SUCCESS
IS ONLY CREATED
WHEN YOU FOLLOW YOUR OWN ARROWS,
WHEREVER THEY POINT.
Do not bastardize your own journey,
water down your own message,
and complicate your own business
by following someone else’s “proven system.
Watch what people DO…
not what they SELL.
