⚡️ to close a deal that seems to be cooling off,
⚡️ to package an offer so that it’s a hell yes…

⚡️ to frame a situation “favorably,” whether it’s to win an award or stay out of trouble… *wink**

HOW I know
what to say
in what tone,
with HOW MUCH punctuation,
and with the exact amount of “take it or leave it” attachment
when these things ALWAYS vary from person to person,
brand to brand,
situation to situation…
Has NOTHING to do with strategies I’ve learned over the years… the assumptive close, the take away close, the hard close, the soft close, the summary close or
ANY
OTHER
SUCH
(contrived and rehearsed)
method or technique.
For me what it is
and what it has ALWAYS been
is an obsessive love affair,
with that SEXY AS HELL intersection
of words
and intention
and psychology
and commerce.
I have an affinity with these things,
a kinship,
a fascination,
a true LOVE
of that intersection.
I don’t approach it with strategy, but with heart.
But also…
how can I say THAT?
I spend a LOT of time reading, studying, thinking about, day dreaming about, sketching about….
sales
and words
and intention
and psychology
and commerce. =)
These things are part of me,
part — now — of how I think.
They’re always there.
They’re foundational to me at this point…
20+ years in to a singular course of study, if you will.
