So, about today. š Today, I had an opportunity to introduce TWELVE experts / entrepreneurs to THE SENIOR producer for The Talk and the guest producer for The Kelly Clarkson Show. In a casual — yet powerful — format, here is what transpired in just under 90 minutes:
š„ The producer shared with us how ONE LITTLE — oddly specific — addition to our pitch would immediately get his attention and land our email on the top of the heap.
š„ How one can get WAY MORE (think: direct response tactics) exposure for physical products on either of these shows for $18,000 than you would get paying for a $500K commercial.
š„ One woman pitching this producer was asked to COACH THE HOSTS on virtual presence. No, I’m not joking.
š„ Another ROCKED her pitch and her fellow “pitchers” literally cheered her on. No jealousy. No catty-ness. Nothing but the pure joy of seeing another woman succeed.
š„ The collection of our experts — as a whole — inspired this producer to consider a health-focused Monday routine.
š„ One woman got an immediate “YES” for a product that will show up on the Talk’s “block party,” i.e. their season opening.
š„ Another woman was asked if “The Talk” could come and FILM A SEGMENT on her property. Um, yes please.
š„ Two more were told they were BORN for TV… and this producer absolutely meant it.
š„ Another co-planned a segment (around frozen foods, no less) WITH the producer in about 4-minutes flat.
š„ And how could I forget that we — collectively — agreed to be the hula hoop team ON LIVE TELEVISION for this national show?
Anyway, much more happened, but off the top of my head, these were the high points. Now, why does this make ME a badass? lol..
Well, I carefully curated this room of bad-assery.
I CAREFULLY chose those I introduced to the media. A few (four people specifically) were invited and said No. (There is a fee to participate in these meet-the-media events.) No doubt about it, they missed out. Four more took their place and in October, TWENTY FIVE of us will meet in person with more of the top decision makers from top media outlets and publications.
The list of media I want to introduce YOU to is below, but back to my bad-assery… and yours. š
Today, I knew I was meeting with one of THE TOP decision makers for two of THE TOP shows in the country. So, you know… I did my makeup and hair. I was still barefoot and wearing my yoga pants, of course, but I put on earrings and lipstick… so I was FEELING ready.
But my bad-assery…
was activated by the virtual room of badasses I deliberately curated. My badassery was activated by THEIR badassery.
There is NOTHING like a room full of powerful women… playing at the TOP of their game. I am so honored and humbled to stand among my tribe… to make these introductions… to see their brands on the national stage.
But media aside,
to activate YOUR bad-assery,
woman,
hang around more bad-asses.
If you need to know where to find them,
well…
I know a place. lol..
A place where the most driven,
the most generous,
the most authentic
women entrepreneurs hang out…
But if you KNOW that you are READY for national media… or are willing to GET READY because you KNOW it’s time… let me introduce you to the following:
The Drew Barrymore Show
The Doctors
Rachael Ray
Fox
The Wendy Williams Show
Entrepreneur magazine;
and more!
We have a small handful of spots left. And you don’t want to miss out. Message me fast for details. I am carving out several 20-minute appointments TOMORROW to speak with women (or men) who want to be in the live media event in NYC.
