While out of town this weekend, my Mom and I stumbled across this car, and I just HAD to take a picture for you. At first, I was a little irritated that it was so blurry, but then — I thought — it’s better this way. It allows us to protect the guilty! =)
Here’s what this company does: Concierge, Bookkeeping, Coaching, Organizing, Staging, and Home Management.
All of it. =) A classic example of being a Jane of all Trades, but — presumably — a master of nothing. Not good.
You might be GREAT at any number of things. Like this business owner, apparently. But, this is a classic example of an “anything for money” tour. A classic example of a business owner’s failure to decide. And, as a direct result, this person’s business is likely to be marked by price cutting, constant networking, disappointment and mediocre results — at best.
Mediocre businesses are MARKED by this type of indecision.
In business, a business owner’s failure to decide will lead to a business in a classic state of failure to thrive.
When I work with other experts, I ask them to DECLARE their forest. I ask them to CHOOSE the proverbial geography they’ll dominate. But all business owners should decide. What do you DO– best? Not, what CAN you do if you had to? Not, what do you have the ability to do reasonably well? But, what DO YOU DO — better than any of your competitors?
Decision is a tough but powerful marketing strategy. Let me know if I can help!

wow…the thing is, with all of that, I would hire her for nothing. It’s too confusing and makes me think she is average at everything.
