This is to all the women,
the empowered women,
the women empowered by knowledge,
the women who trust themselves,
the women who have a HUGE purpose…
the women who know they were YES born for more,
and also…
born for such a time as this.
To THAT woman,
I ask what time it is.
(Because I KNOW you KNOW.)
Is it REALLY time…
to shrink back in timidity and fear?
is it REALLY time
–do ya think —
to add to the panicked voices
warning others that the sky is falling?
To accept authority without questioning it?
Is it time
all of the sudden
where criticizing from the couch
is –somehow–
of benefit?
You know better than that.
And you know what time it is.
It is TIME to RISE, woman.
Rising above a need to be “right,”
but mainly above the incessant need to have people AGREE with you…
Rising ABOVE the chaos for a more rational view.
Rising ABOVE the circumstances,
so you can see YOUR true path forward.
It is time to be the warrior,
the fire,
the leader you are, friend.
And guess what warriors, change-makers, fires, and leaders don’t collect?
Applause.
You see, a warrior never concerns herself with whether she’s living in harmony with “the world’s opinion.” She never concerns herself with whether everyone AGREES with her.
In fact, she concedes that her very purpose lies in the fact that she often lives, thinks and believes counter-culture. She’s here BECAUSE
it’s time for a new message,
a new approach,
a new WAY.
And isn’t that what you believe?
Because I’ll be honest.
I am GRATEFUL to live in these times.
Not because I’m some health or political expert needing to “win the world over to my opinion.”
I’m NOT (and chances are, neither are you.)
so I do my own research,
form my own opinion
and make decisions from there.
I am grateful
because I am capable,
because my arms are strong for the task at hand,
because in all of this I can SEE my true path forward,
because I was created for good works.
And because I will ALWAYS pick up my sword, my hammer, my WHATEVER
and get to work.
So, what time is it for YOU?
➡️ I IMPLORE you to come back to your FULL and TRUE purpose on this earth.
➡️ I BEG you to dust off your goals for 2020. They WERE important and they ARE important.
➡️ I PLEAD for you to return to us, to your CORE work and SOUL’s message. The world needs it.
➡️ I BESEECH all empowered women to be part of rebuilding, starting NOW… to LEAD the way back to the “new normal” we all seek,
instead of….
the alternative…
of parroting someone else’s experience and opinion to be part of the “conversation”…
instead of….
“waiting”
on someone
or some entitity
to let us know
to give us permission
to get back to what we were BORN to do.
Woman, It’s way past time.
And no one EVER relieved you of your purpose.
This pandemic does NOT have the power or permission to do such a thing.
No, your purpose is still there,
more now than before.
So, don’t shirk it. Don’t shrug.
Get creative, go deeper, and stay the course.
