One of the top frustrations I hear about from business owners is that of a CHEAP prospect pool. Prospects who can’t even use credit. Prospects that absolutely can not buy anything you offer. Cheap prospects. Broke prospects. Poor prospects.
Most times, this cheap-o lead problem is blamed on one of three things: geography, economy or industry. Fortunately, the problem is NONE of these three things.
The problem is you, Mr. or Mrs. business owner.
Tough truth to take, but take it we must. You see, in business you are rolling out the red carpet for someone! With your website, your advertisements, your networking… with everything you do, you’re attracting someone. And repelling someone else.
So…. if you’re attracting the cheap-os, you’re very likely repelling your ideal clients. So change something. STAT. It’s up to you. Make those cheap and lame prospects uncomfortable and unwelcome. We have some profit to create.
