You CAN… but will you? You see, that’s the question. Far too many WANT OUT of what I’ve just described… but refuse to do what it takes to make it happen.
They want “line out the door” demand. They dream of having to say, “At this time, we’re at full capacity, but here’s our waiting list.” They WANT the prestige AND the profit of being the GO-TO person for what they do….
But they want it… while STILL BEING ABLE TO ENJOY THE COMFORT ZONE OF doing EXACTLY what they’re doing now.
THE TRUTH IS, THEY THINK THEY DESERVE IT…
I know this is PRECISELY how I felt.
But how I FELT didn’t change my reality. My reality was that I was being overlooked. EVEN ON A SMALL LITTLE TINY LOCAL STAGE, I was being overlooked.
uggg. I can joke about these times — and often do — but when I “sit with them,” truth be told, they still make my blood boil.

The good news is: You don’t have to stay here. You can absolutely generate THIS DEMAND that gives you the profit you want and the freedom you want. The freedom to take off when you want, the freedom to put boundaries on your time, the freedom to set your own rules, the freedom to generate money AT WILL because the demand for your work is so great.
Here’s a quick outline of where to start to GENERATE BOTH DEMAND & DOLLARS. (Pay special attention to the actionable challenge at the very end of this post.)
First things first, you can NOT keep being general with your desire.
You need to know 1) WHO you want to be the GO TO person for, and also 2) WHAT specific problem you want to be known for solving.
YES, I KNOW that you’re amazing at x, y AND z. Yes, I know that there are a few different populations you serve brilliantly.
But, for the sake of getting that “line out the door” demand, you will need to have some very narrow targets, at least to start with. This isn’t about turning away business, this is about talking specifically and intimately to a defined market.
NEXT, make a commit to serving this niche DAILY.
You didn’t think you could just keep doing what you’re doing now and “ONE DAY” the magic would happen, did you?
You DID know that you’d have to do something different to get a different result, right?
